On June 23, 2010, some children form disaster area in Yushu and local were communicating, learning and flying plane models, the sign of dream, in Beijing 91ST Primary School in Haidian District. That was a component of “Flying Dream-Boeing Navigation Scientific Education Activity Series” co-organized by Boeing Company, Beijing Youth Development Foundation and Beijing Education Commission. On site he guests presented “Love Gift Packages” filled with articles for learning to 13 children from disaster area in Yushu. The children from local and disaster area in Yushu participating in navigation science education course were sharing knowledge, jointly making and flying plane models. Relevant officials from Boeing Company and Beijing Youth Development Foundation attended the activity.
So far nearly 20,000 students from 150 primary schools in Beijing area have participated in “Flying Dream-Boeing Navigation Scientific Education Activity Series” and accepted navigation scientific knowledge trainings.
