Seeding Hope, Flying Dream

 “Chinese Top 10 Lawrence Inspiration Project” co-initiated by Beijing Youth Development Foundation and Chinese Top 10 Lawrence Champion Committee started up in Beijing yesterday and activity contents of 2010 Dandelion Program were released at the same time.

Miss Deng Yaping, Vice Secretary of Beijing Youth League and Chairman of Chinese Top 10 Lawrence Champion Committee, Chen Shuhui, Executive Vice General Secretary of Beijing Youth Development Foundation, Mr. Yan Ming, Vice Chairman of Western Returned Scholars Association, champion member of Xie Jun, Ye Qiaobo, Chang Hao, Sun Haitao, Wang Liping and Nong Qunhua from Chinese Top 10 Lawrence Champion Committee and nearly 100 Western returned elites from branches of Western Returned Scholars Association participated in Startup Ceremony. Miss Deng Yaping delivered a passionate speech and hoped this inspiration project can obtain more focus and support from all cycles in society. She also hoped more caring people can take part in the project and focus on and care about growth of youth.

At the end of 2009, through deep research and common discussion, based on existing commonweal projects of Chinese Top 10 Lawrence Champion Committee, Beijing Youth Development Foundation and Chinese Top 10 Lawrence Champion Committee researched on, developed and set “Chinese Top 10 Lawrence Inspiration Project” from a brand new perspective.

“Chinese Top 10 Lawrence Inspiration Project” is aiming at advocating sport commonweal thought through appeal, influence force and cohesive force of sports, and helping youth cultivate healthy, optimistic life attitude and set up right view of life and value through participation of champion members and their face-to-face communication with youth. Meanwhile, “Chinese Top 10 Lawrence Inspiration Project” is to offer supports like hardware facilities and sports facilities to schools with weak education basis.
