“Love Action-Salary Donation Program” Launched

“Love Action-Salary Donation Program” Launch Ceremony took place in headquarters of Bank of Beijing on the 25^th of this May. Relevant officials like Wang Shaofeng, Secretary of Beijing Municipal Commission of the China Communist Youth League and Yan Bingzhu, Chairman of Bank of Beijing as well as representative of Communist Youth League members in Capital and employee representatives attended the ceremony.

Chen Shuhui, Executive Vice Secretary-general of Beijing Youth Development Foundation introduced relevant contents of “Salary Donation Program”; Yan Xiaoyan, President of Bank of Beijing introduced the support conditions of Bank of Beijing for the program. Wang Shaofeng, Secretary of Beijing Municipal Commission of the China Communist Youth League presented a memorial plaque “Love Action-Salary Donation Program Sponsor” to Bank of Beijing.

“Love Action-Salary Donation Program” is a well-planned continual charity donation method advocated by Beijing Municipal Commission of the China Communist Youth League and Beijing Youth Development Foundation facing individual donators and also an innovation of domestic charity donation method. The launch of “Salary Donation Program” was to effectively integrate social resources, encourage the whole society to care and support growth and development of youth and form a brand new charity fashion-“Salary Donation Program”. All donations from the program will be used for helping youth overcome difficulties they face during growth and meet their demand of development, such as offering education and life support to youth, relieving youth in serious natural disasters, and other charity purposes.

The concrete method of participation in “Salary Donation Program” for public is as follows: Depositors of Bank of Beijing authorize bank to transfer funds of certain sum from their accounts every month to donate to Beijing Youth Development Foundation. Donators can determine the sum according to their financial situation and the sum shall be integral multiple of 1 Yuan, no less than 1 Yuan. Any people holding a debit card, VIP card, Tulip card, deposit future card, mutual help card and dual-currency card of Bank of Beijing can handle participation procedure via business office, Internet banking or telephone banking of Bank of Beijing.

On “Love Action-Salary Donation Program” Launch Ceremony, Beijing Youth Development Foundation promised that all donations from this program would be used for helping youth overcome difficulties they face during growth and meet their demand of development. In the principle of openness, transparence and protecting donators, the information of “Salary Donation Program” participants like their bank card number (partial digits will be shielded) and sum of their donations of the month will be publicized on official website of Beijing Youth Development Foundation. Beijing Youth Development Foundation will provide each participant with a donation memorial card in every donation year and the card holder can apply for exemption of individual income tax at tax authorities.   

Taking “Love Action-Salary Donation Program” as an opportunity, Beijing Youth Development Foundation engaged some public figures such as Shang Xiuyun, Li Suli, Dai Yuqiang, Zhao Pu, Li Li, Xu Chunni and Meng Kunyu as “Embassies of Love” of Beijing Youth Development Foundation. On launch ceremony, Chen Huishu, Executive Vice Secretary-general of Beijing Youth Development Foundation issued Letters of Engagement to Li Suli, Xu Chunni, Meng Kunyu and other “Embassies of Love” attending the ceremony.

On the ceremony, Wang Shaofeng, Secretary of Beijing Municipal Commission of the China Communist Youth League pointed out in his speech, the launch of “Salary Donation Program” was the urgent demand of helping healthy growth of youth realistic, the realistic requirements of daily channel of successful love action, and the effective exploration for boosting development of youth charity undertaking. Beijing Municipal Commission of the China Communist Youth League and Beijing Youth Development Foundation will carefully organize implementation based on elaborate design and forge the program into a brand charity project in charity system of the city, even China through effective cultivation and implementation. Beijing Youth Development Foundation will effectively enhance management and supervision of donation, make system design, carry out fund and personal management with system, establish a complete social supervision system and make the program a real transparent project, reliable project and warm project. Beijing Municipal Commission of the China Communist Youth League also will bring the organizational advantage into full play, encourage young Communist Youth League members to actively participate in the program and create a favorable atmosphere of caring growth of youth in the whole society.

After ceremony, all officials, Embassies of Love, representatives of Communist Youth League members in Capital, employee representatives and common citizens attending the ceremony visited business office of the bank. They stuck the green paper butterflies with their names or wishes written on the “Activity Participation Wall”. More importantly they handled donation procedure of “Salary Donation Program” on site and become the first group of donators of the program.
